Brighten Your Holidays With Skip-a-Pay!
The festive season is just around the corner, bringing excitement for shopping, gift-giving, and celebrations. Free up funds for your favorite traditions and celebrate this season without financial stress with USECU’s Skip-a-Pay program*.
This program allows you to skip the payment(s) on your eligible USECU loans for December or January. If you qualify, you can skip your payment and use the money for other holiday expenses.
If you have your loan payment(s) scheduled to transfer automatically through Online Banking, or from another financial institution, you will need to cancel the scheduled transfer. Don’t forget to reschedule your transfer so your payments resume before the next payment is due. If USECU originates the payment from another financial institution directly to your loan, it will be skipped. If USECU originates the payment from another institution to your deposit account, the transfer will be processed; however, the loan payment will be skipped.
Important notes:
Your payment(s) must be made for the month preceding the month you choose to skip. For example, if you choose to skip December, your November payment(s) must be made before you can request the skip.
There is a $25.00 processing fee for each loan you include in the program.
You can select to pay the fee from your checking or savings account at USECU.
Maximum of two Skip-A-Payments per loan, per calendar year.
You must have made 6 consecutive monthly payments to qualify.
A completed, signed Skip-A-Pay Enrollment Form must be received 10 days before the scheduled payment due date for the loan you wish to skip.
Email the Skip-A-Pay Enrollment form to SkipAPay@usecreditunion.com
* Participating in Skip-a-Pay will extend your loan’s maturity date. Interest will continue to accrue on the unpaid balance during the month you skip your payment. A $25 nonrefundable processing fee applies for each loan included in the program. To be eligible, you must be in good standing and have all loans current. The credit union reserves the right to decline any Skip-a-Pay request.
